How can I be sure I sell in this economic crisis?
I can't promise you will sell now or any other time. I can promise you hundreds of people will see your work that haven't seen it before. Just by seeing all the wonderful artwork, we hope to create desire in the community.

How can I be sure there will be enough publicity for the festival?
We have many experts who are helping us, from PR people, graphic designers, printers, travel agents and the department of tourism.

Why did you choose to use tents instead of the Palacio de Congreso?
The festival is designed after the thousands that are put on every year in the United States, in almost every city and town. When an art festival is in tents in the middle of a city, they become one of the main events of the year bringing in people from surrounding areas to see the art. Art festivals are always a benefit to the community and to the artists that show in them. A festive atmosphere is created around the show with food booths and entertainment making it fun for the general public. It allows people to see contemporary art that is available, without them having to go to galleries or museums, that can often be intimidating.

Do I have to stay in my tent the whole time?
No, you can have others relieve you and we will have volunteers to help as well. The more you are in your tent the better it will be for your own publicity and sales.

Can I bring my own tent?
You are welcome to use your own tent providing it is the same as the one shown on the tent/carpa page--3x3 with pointed roof. Then you would only have to pay €120 for the four days. We have gotten many bids and feel that the cost of the tents we have chosen are very reasonable and we have been given a special rate.

I'm afraid the quality of the show will not be up to my standards, what are you doing about that?
All entrants, including volunteers, galleries, and board members will be juried by a panel of experts. We would rather have fewer tents than a low quality show.

Why does it cost so much?
This festival is designed by artists for artists so the cost of entering is reasonable. Other art fairs cost over a thousand euros to enter because they have to rent a building. Because we are using tents, the costs are much much lower and no commission is charged on sales. Also, the Marbella Town Hall is donating the space.
